[Ignis and Raleigh] in the kitchen
Apr. 19th, 2017 11:02 amEven a not-quite-half-full Inn generally produced more than enough work for a kitchen that one cook, or one cook and a chicken madman, would have his hands full a significant amount of time. Frankly, Ignis preferred it that way. The busier this make-work kept him, the less time he had to dwell in general.
Even with that, though, there were lulls in the day. One such lull was in the early afternoon, between lunch and dinner. It rarely completely counted as time to himself (he never minded the chicken madman, who in turn never minded him) but Ignis took it anyway. This afternoon, he'd made himself coffee (very, very black as he preferred) and spread the contents of various spice racks out on a center island for identification and reorganization. They needed neither, but he enjoyed doing it.
